Artist // Writer

I am an artist and writer from Vermont currently living in Los Angeles.

As an artist, I am drawn to folk and vernacular modes and use sculpture, installation, and video to engage with concepts of paradise, longing, decay, and regeneration under capitalism, as well as complex tensions between urban and rural outlooks. I founded the art and project space Flower Head in my garage in 2020.

As a writer, I’ve contributed on art and cinema to publications including Momus, Variable West, Los Angeles Review of Books, The New Inquiry, The Brooklyn Rail, Contemporary Art Review LA (Carla), Bookforum, The Journal of Modern Craft, and others.
